Episode 7: Going with the Glacial Flow
It's funny, when we sat down to outline this episode we were a little bummed thinking it's been our most boring week so far. And then I realized that if my most boring week is getting to hike to and photograph a glacier, while Kendrick gets to try out the hardest 5K in existence, then we must be doing alright!!
It's a delicate balance giving tips on camping, living on the road, and photography - and trying to keep it interesting for everyone. In this episode, I included my thought process while photographing the glacier - for my fellow photo nerds (and those aspiring to be)!

Things we did and places we visited in this episode:
Seward, AK: A great harbor town definitely worth a visit!
Mount Marathon Race: The unbelievable race course that hurt Kendrick's back!
Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel: The longest highway tunnel in the world!
Whittier, AK: The small town on the other side of the tunnel.
Portage Pass Trail: The trail that takes you to the base of Portage Glacier.
Portage Glacier: The glacier near Whittier that Mandy photographed.
TENS Machine - This was our favorite purchase! It made all the difference during Kendrick's drive. This was the best value for money we found.
Schneider Optics 4-stop Circular Polarizer - The filter used in these shots.
3 Legged Thing - Winston: The tripod used in this video.
Mindshift Gear Backlight 36L: The Camera backpack Mandy is carrying.
